Ethics and professionalism are integral parts of the aeronautics industry. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, ethics is defined as the principles of conduct that govern an individual or a group. Basically, ethics is a set of values that control your actions; whether good or bad the decisions you choose to make are impacted by the values instilled in you. The values you hold today are those created by family, from past experiences, and even society. We all want to be able to say we do the right thing when no one is looking, but the true action can be more challenging than expected, though exceedingly important in aviation.
